Senior Analyst, FP&A Analytics

Our Calgary client is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, FP&A Analytics to join their team. The Senior Analyst, FP&A Analytics drives advanced financial modeling and predictive forecasting to support capital allocation, operational performance, and strategic planning. Working closely with Operations, Commercial, and Corporate teams, the role delivers forward-looking, data-driven insights that enhance forecast accuracy, assess risk, and inform decisions across a capital-intensive energy infrastructure business.

Your success will be defined by your ability to :

• Design and maintain integrated, driver-based financial models linking operations, revenue, costs, capital, cash flow, and returns
• Build dynamic models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Apply predictive analytics and advanced forecasting techniques to improve accuracy and reliability
• Analyze historical, operational, and market data to identify trends, risks, and leading indicators
• Develop dashboards and decision-support tools to assess performance and future outcomes
• Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
• Partner with Operations and Commercial teams to align models with operational and contractual realities
• Lead enhancements to FP&A analytics, including automation, standardization, governance, and mentoring junior analysts
