Rental Salesperson

We are seeking a self-motivated rental salesperson who will work under the rental manager, performing various customer service and rental sales duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Full-time position
· Clearly communicate with the customer about their rental agreements and equipment operation.
· Assist a diverse range of customers in determining their rental equipment needs.
· Check equipment in and out with customers.
· Processing contracts
· Handle clerical duties using Word, Excel, & CDK
· Coordinate equipment repairs in-house and from 3rd party vendors.
· Perform a variety of duties to prepare equipment for customers.
· Promote equipment rental activity with new and current customers through various communication methods.
· Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· It is essential for the applicant to be customer satisfaction-driven, with good communication skills.
Qualifications:
· Candidates must be able to pass a background check, including a criminal history check, successfully.
· Class 5 Driver's license (willing to upgrade to a class 3)
· Willing and able to work outside when needed year-round.
· Ideal candidate will have inside/outside sales or retail experience
· Have some mechanical/electrical knowledge to be able to assess and diagnose unit functionality issues
· Professional/engaging personality with a willingness to learn
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· CDK experience is an asset.
