Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Production Accountant will play a key role in assisting in the full cycle of production and revenue accounting.
Some key responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- In charge of reporting the monthly well production and sales to all stakeholders, partners, andernment.- In charge of reconciling and booking the monthly revenue and royalties.
- Ensure that all royalties, crown and overrides are processed and paid on time.- Responsible for Full Cycle Production and Monthly Revenue Accruals.
- Responsible for master file setup and maintenance.- Assist with entering Crown, and GORR Royalty bookings and reconciliation.
- Responsible for entering month-end vouchers.- Provide data for the BC Gas Levy.
- Ensurepliance with EPAP and T5 annual submissions.- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
- Responsible for carbon tax filing.
What you'll need to succeed
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- CAPPA is a must.- Experience with Metrix, Q-byte- FM, and Optix is a must.
- Experience working with AB and BC properties
- Proven experience working in a production accounting role.- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effectivemunication and interpersonal skills to collaborate internally and externally.- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
