Field Service Representative

Work at our customer locations with Canada, the USA or wherever Siemens Energy is involved in Power Generation. Provide technical assistance for the inspection and overhaul of power generation equipment, project management of equipment service and supervision of trades and service technicians.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead job site safety programs and performs complex site surveys to develop maintenance plans.
• Provide Technical Assistance for the inspection, troubleshooting and assembly of power generation components.
• Complete and submits detailed reports covering all job activity.
• Complete the planning and estimating of resources and durations required for specific scopes of work for customer proposals.
• Perform the review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual mentorship throughout task duration.
• Supervise mechanical maintenance crews for the disassembly, inspection, repairing, and reassembling large steam / gas turbine generators.

What You Bring

• Mechanical Engineering degree, Mechanical Technologist diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrate relevant experience working in the power generation industry.
• Experience in the general maintenance of large gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and associated equipment or equivalent large equipment
• Experience working to and updating complex schedules. Familiarity with related software such as Primavera and / or Microsoft Project.
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime as needed. Ability to travel up to 70%

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
