IT Contract Specialist - IT procurement
Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts related to IT procurement, including software, hardware, and professional services agreements.
This role involves handling a high volume of contracts, working independently, and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Contract Management : Review, write, and manage contracts related to IT procurement, including software, hardware, and professional services contracts.
- Contract Renewals & Amendments : Draft and review contract renewals, amendments, and modifications as needed.
- Procurement Support : Collaborate with internal teams to support procurement of IT-related goods and services.
- High Volume Contract Review : Efficiently handle a large volume of contracts, typically under $1 million in value, ensuring all contracts meet organizational standards.
- Prioritization & Time Management : Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Contract Management Tools : Use procurement tools such as Ivalua , Coupa , and Ariba for contract management and tracking.
- Finance & Budgeting Support : Work closely with finance teams to align contracts with budgetary constraints and financial planning.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Prior IT Procurement Experience : Proven experience in IT procurement, including sourcing and vendor management.
- Contract Review & Drafting : Experience in reviewing and writing contracts, renewals, and amendments.
- Independent Worker : Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Time Management Skills : Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Contract Management Tools : Experience with Ivalua , Coupa , or Ariba (or similar procurement tools).
Nice-to-Have Skills :
Financial / Banking Background : Experience in finance or banking sectors is an asset, though not required.
