Le gestionnaire principal, exploitation du réseau assure la direction et la supervision des techniciens du centre de contrôle du réseau ( CCR ) responsables du soutien de premier niveau de la gamme complète de produits et services de Zayo.

Responsabilités

Développer, encadrer et former le personnel du CCR

S’assurer que l’équipe respecte ou dépasse les ENS internes prescrites par la haute direction.

Chercher à améliorer les processus et les procédures afin d’offrir le plus haut niveau de service à nos clients.

Élaborer, documenter, mettre en œuvre et maintenir des processus et des procédures pour les opérations quotidiennes, conformément aux directives de la direction du CCR.

Promouvoir une solide culture d’engagement envers la qualité du service grâce à l’exécution réussie de processus reproductibles et bien conçus.

Surveiller l’état des alarmes, des alertes, des billets Salesforce de même que des processus pour s’assurer que les dépêches et les réparations quotidiennes sont effectuées en temps opportun.

Communiquer les changements de politique et de procédure au personnel du CCR.

Formuler des recommandations pour les changements et les améliorations et les transmettre à la direction du CCR.

Produire des rapports pour l’équipe de haute direction du CCR en ce qui concerne la disponibilité des services, le temps moyen d’intervention (TMI), l’ensemble des volumes de clients et de réseaux.

Superviser et gérer les projets spéciaux au besoin.

Atteindre et / ou dépasser et maintenir les objectifs du centre comme attribués par la direction.

Assurer l’amélioration continue des processus au sein du CCR, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, l’automatisation des tâches et des rapports du CCR, des initiatives et des tâches administratives courantes.

Maintenir la communication avec la direction du CCR pendant les pannes jusqu’à ce que les problèmes soient résolus.

Élaborer et apporter des améliorations aux processus et aux procédures en utilisant l’analyse des causes profondes.

Identifier et interviewer le ou les candidat(s) pour l’équipe Centre de contrôle du réseau, au besoin.

S’assurer que les cas clients et réseaux soient distribuer de façon à respecter les niveaux de service en s’assurant que tous les cas sont 100% attribués quotidiennement.

Aider à l’administration des évaluations du rendement, du mentorat et de la formation du personnel.

Le gestionnaire, exploitation du réseau doit être sur appel ou travailler pendant divers quarts de travail (comme les fins de semaine ou les soirs).

NOTE : Le titulaire de ce poste gérera les techniciens syndiqués. Le titulaire du poste devra gérer l’équipe selon la convention collective.

Qualifications

BAC ou équivalent, formation d’une école technique de deux ans; ou de six mois à un an d’expérience ou de formation connexe;

ou une combinaison équivalente d’études et d’expérience.

Maîtrise de Microsoft Office ou de Google Suites

Pensée analytique, capacité de résoudre des problèmes.

Capacité de gérer et de coordonner des projets

Capacité d’examiner les dessins du réseau optique et de déterminer la zone endommagée en fonction des traces du réflectomètre de domaine temporel optique.

Comprend les caractéristiques des fibres et des câbles.

Connaissance de l’installation de fibres optiques et de câbles ainsi que de la gestion de l’entretien.

Doit avoir la capacité de gérer les situations des clients. Capacité de répondre de façon professionnelle aux plaintes et aux problèmes des clients.

Capacité de communiquer clairement verbalement et par écrit.

Expérience en gestion ou en leadership

Une habilitation de sécurité secrète, émise par un organisme du gouvernement du Canada, est requise. L’autorisation de sécurité peut être obtenue après l’embauche, mais est une condition d’emploi pour conserver le poste.

Pour recevoir une autorisation secrète, le candidat doit être citoyen canadien et avoir vécu au Canada pendant 10 ans ou plus.

Zayo is seeking a Global Network Operations Senior Manager (located in Montreal Ontario) to provide direction, leadership and supervision of Network Control Center ( NCC ) Technicians responsible for first level support of Zayo’s entire suite of products and services.

Responsibilities

Develop, mentor and train the NCC staff

Ensure team is meeting / exceeding internal SLAs mandated by Senior Management

Seek to improve processes and procedures with the goal of delivering the highest level of service to our customers

Develop, document, implement and maintain processes and procedures for the day-to-day operations with NCC Management’s guidance

Promote a strong culture committed to service quality through the successful execution of repeatable, well-designed processes

Monitor the status of alarms, alerts, Salesforce tickets and processes to ensure daily dispatches and repairs are being completed in a timely manner

Communicate policy and procedural changes to the NCC Staff

Make recommendations for changes and improvements and communicate them to NCC management

Generate reports for the Senior NCC Management team in regards to service availability, MTTR, overall customer and network volumes.

Oversee and manage special projects as needed

Meet and / or exceed and maintain center objectives as assigned by management

Ensure continual process improvement within the NCC, including but not limited to, automation of NCC tasks and reporting, initiatives and routine administrative tasks

Maintain communication with NCC management during outages until issues are resolved.

Develop and drive improvements to processes and procedures utilizing root cause analysis

Identify and interview candidate(s) for the Network Control Center team, when needed

Monitor Customer / Network work queues to ensure 100% compliance with SLAs and to ensure all cases are being assigned on a daily basis

Assist with administering performance reviews, mentoring and training staff

The Network Operations Manager is required to be on call and / or work various shifts (such as weekends and / or evenings)

NOTE : This role will manage Union based Technicians. The role will be expected to comply with employment Union regulations.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and / or Google Suites

Analytical thinking, ability to problem solve

Ability to manage and coordinate projects

Ability to review fiber network drawings and determine area of damage based on Optical Time Domain Reflectometer traces

Understand fiber and cable characteristics

Familiarity with fiber optic and cable installation and maintenance handling

Ability to manage customer situations; ability to respond in a professional manner to customer complaints and issues

Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in written communication

Previous management / Leadership experience

Secret-level security clearance by an agency of the Government of Canada or Secret-level security clearance is required.

Security clearance can be obtained after hire but is a condition of employment to retain the position. To receive a Secret Clearance, the candidate must be a Canadian Citizen and have lived in Canada for 10 yrs or over.

Please note : This role will be expected to be On Call for Night and Weekend Shifts.

Salary Range from $130,000 - $136,500 CAD Annually, commensurate with experience
