Job Description

This is an exciting full‑time opportunity for a new graduate looking to launch a career in transportation engineering. You’ll join a collaborative and growing team of transportation professionals who will support your development as you build foundational skills in transportation planning, traffic engineering and operational analysis. At EXP, you’ll gain hands‑on project experience, mentorship from senior team members and exposure to a wide variety of transportation projects across Ontario.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Assisting with transportation planning and traffic operations analyses, including :

• Traffic impact studies for land development projects
• Environmental assessment–related traffic analysis
• Transportation master plan research and support
• Operational analysis, including exposure to various micro simulation tools
• Helping prepare technical reports, figures and presentations under the guidance of senior engineers and technologists
• Developing basic drawings with support and direction of senior engineers and technologists
• Supporting project coordination tasks such as scheduling, data collection, documentation and quality checks
• Participating in meetings and presentations with internal team members and occasionally with municipal partners (with support and mentorship)
• Contributing to the positive, collaborative team culture by bringing curiosity, professionalism and a willingness to learn

What Your Experience Looks Like

The salary range for this role is between $55.5K and $73K. Compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications and specific work location.
