Opportunity Summary

As a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), you will work as a front‑line healthcare provider in EHS Operations across the Edmonton area. You may be called to perform ambulance, interfacility transport, or other front‑line duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess emergency scenes and patients, and transport ill or injured patients between facilities.
• Operate ambulances and other modes of transportation; administer minor medications, basic life support (BLS) airway adjuncts, and semi‑automated defibrillation.
• Lead the BLS crew in delivering clinical care during transport or at emergency scenes.
• Assist with ensuring EMS vehicles (including non‑emergent transport) are properly stocked and equipped.
• Work in all weather conditions and remote locations, and handle hazardous or graphic scenes with direct exposure to bodily fluids.
• Perform frequent lifting and carrying of up to 105 lb, and maintain physical endurance for prolonged periods of kneeling, trunk flexion, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and side‑carry.
