Full Stack Developer / Lead Developer

We are a rapidly evolving platform specializing in providing real estate listings & AI-generated insights into the Canadian housing market.

Our platform features a comprehensive suite of tools, including detailed reports, predictive analytics, geographic searches, and a user-friendly interactive AI chatbot.

As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Full Stack Developer to lead our product implementation efforts and coordinate with our external development partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive rapid full stack feature development.
• Manage and liaise with outsourced development agencies.
• Improve platform features and performance.
• Integrate AI technologies and models into our platform.
• Maintain and update our frontend and backend tech stacks.

Frontend Skills & Experience

• Minimum five years of hands-on web app development experience.
• Proficiency in React for core development.
• Experience with NX Workspace including building, serving, linting, and testing.
• State Management expertise with Redux and Redux Toolkit.
• UI / UX skills : MUI components and Emotion for creating styled components.
• Mapping : Knowledge of the Google Maps API.
• Chat Integration : Hands-on experience with LLMs such as OpenAI, ChatGPT & tools like Voiceflow.
• Other essential tools : Formik, Yup, Recharts, Plotly, and more.

Backend Skills & Experience

• Minimum five years of backend / API development experience
• Strong Python experience
• Django & DRF : Core development and API creation.
• Database expertise : PostgreSQL and MSSQL
• Task Queue management with Celery.

Machine learning and data analytics

• AI & Data Analysis skills : Pandas, scikit-learn, Hugging Face tools, etc.
• Geographical Data : Pyproj, Shapely, Geopandas, and similar tools.
• Chatbot & AI : Experience with OpenAI GPT models, Stable Diffusion and other generative AI models.
• Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure
• Other : Deep understanding of JWT authentication, CORS handling, and related security protocols.

Additional Skills & Attributes

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A deep understanding of AI technologies, and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest trends and best practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with outsourced teams or agencies.
• An understanding of the Canadian real estate market is a significant plus.
• Previous work experience in the real estate or real estate tech industry is highly advantageous.
• Data science proficiency is a must-have.
