Job Summary :
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting tasks that support the financial health of our organization.
This role requires a high level of accuracy, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring records are accurate for two UK based entities. Including reconciling accounts monthly.
- Ensure that VAT tax returns are prepared & paid properly and timely.
- Manage bank accounts and post transactions daily.
- Manage accounts payable and ensure vendors are paid timely.
- Manage accounts receivable, invoicing and collections.
- Utilize FinancialForce & Great Plains to record, store, and analyze information.
- Comply with corporate financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Journalize & reconcile payroll reports provided by 3rd party payroll company.
- Provide support during financial audits.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports for management as needed.
- Assist with budget preparation and budget reviews.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
