Our growing client in Stratford is seeking a driven and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong technical accounting background to contribute to a rapidly expanding company and play a key role in its financial operations.
This position offers exposure to ERP implementation and the potential to grow into a management role as the company continues to expand. If you are passionate about financial reporting, account reconciliation, and supporting audit processes, this role will provide you with the chance to directly impact business decisions.

Responsibilities: - Assist with financial reporting, including preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts efficiently and accurately, ensuring data integrity.
- Support month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Provide comprehensive support for annual and other audits, including preparing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Analyze financial information to aid in decision-making and provide insights to the leadership team.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as cash applications, and support other departments when staff are away.
- Become a key resource for technical accounting questions within the team
- Contribute to the selection and implementation of a new ERP system
Qualifications: - CPA designation or actively working towards one is highly desirable.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting
- Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts and GAAP
- Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with MS 365 or Acumatica is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work 100% in-office in Stratford.
