Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Owner Operator to join our growing fleet out of our Prince George Terminal.

As a Linehaul Driver you will be an integral part of our team, in this role you will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely.

About Us : Van-Kam Freightways Ltd. (Van Kam) is one of the largest regional carriers in Western Canada specializing in less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation.

With 8 terminal locations across British Columbia, we fulfill shipments to communities within 1-3 days throughout BC and Alberta.

Between our own resources and our partner network, our coverage extends beyond Western Canada into the U.S. and Eastern Canada.

Responsibilities : Conducting pre-trip and post trip inspections When necessary, assist with loading / unloading trailer Reporting any issues promptly Complying with all regulations regarding transportation and hours of service Maintain accurate records of deliveries.

Communicate effectively with Dispatch and team members. Uphold safety and security standards at all times Provide outstanding customer service.

Required Qualifications : Northern Mine Heavy Hauling Experience is Required Valid Class 1 Drivers License is required 3 years of highway experience during the winter is required Ability to drive at night is required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities : Strong communication and teamwork skills Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities Benefits and Perks : Family run, focused on our employees and values : Develop, Care, Achieve MAJOR discount on fuel : Fuel cap at 50₵ per litre, we pay anything on top of that!
