The successful candidate will be available to work 12 hour shifts; days, and nights (0730-1930; 1930-0730) including weekday, weekends, and holidays. As a Patient Support Assistant you will become an integral member of the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team (IDHCT) responsible for the comprehensive care of patients through the Resource Team. The responsibilities include assisting the patients with the basic activities of daily living, bathing, nutrition, positioning and ambulation. 48_Quality Assurance Created with Sketch.Quality assurance
In addition, you will be responsible for non-patient care support duties including stocking treatment areas and carts, maintaining linen supplies and the cleanliness of the patient rooms (for admission and discharge), utility rooms, nursing station, tub and shower rooms and patient care equipment. As an effective team member you will utilize your strong communication skills and be actively involved in quality management initiatives.
Requirements

Must have personal support worker (PSW) certification provided by a facility approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities or the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) with a minimum of 600 hours of clinical and practicum completed or equivalent.
