Job Description
The Operations Agent will be responsible for coordinating operations with the various stakeholders at the airport.
- Plan, coordinate, communicate, lead and control the activities related to Air Transat flights at the Montreal airport (YUL);
- Interact with various service providers, governmental agencies and airport authorities;
- Responsible for briefing the crew;
- Elaboration of the loading plan;
- Consult and communicate flight messages (MVT, DPM, LDM, etc.);
- Communicate UHF and VHF;
- Answer telephone calls and emails;
- Manage irregular situations (delays, diversions, flight cancellations, etc.);
- Code the various delays;
- Prepare operations reports;
- Monitoring of operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- 3 years of experience in airport operations;
- Autonomous and resourceful;
- High level of professionalism;
- Good ability to communicate;
- Capable of evaluating and analyzing operational needs;
- Very good knowledge about the all facets of the aviation industry;
- Understanding of various of IT systems ( AIMS, and ALTEA) an asset;
- Capable of working under pressure
- Capable of multitasking
- Oral and written fluency in French and English *
- A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
