Human Resources Generalist

Permanent, Full-Time Position (Comp # 2025-10-07.2)

Salary Range $70,000-75,000

The North Bay Indigenous Hub (NBIH) will provide a wide range of programming services including traditional healing, primary care, health promotion, chronic disease management, family-focused maternal / child health care, mental wellness care, diabetes care, and a culturally integrated licensed child care facility and EarlyON program. All of the programs are to be delivered in a culturally safe manner to the local urban Indigenous population in addition to our partner First Nations, Nipissing, Temagami and Dokis First Nations. This new agency seeks a motivated, self-starter who is passionate about enhancing the North Bay Indigenous Hubs human resources department by recruitment, orientation & retention, pension & benefits support, and human resources programs and practices.

Under the direction of the Executive Director of the North Bay Indigenous Hub (NBIH), this position will be responsible to deliver human resource support to the North Bay Indigenous Hub (NBIH).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

• Bachelors degree from university, college diploma or relevant work experience required
• Experience working with Indigenous agencies and has a thorough understanding of Indigenous history and ways of being
• 3+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
• 2+ years of experience in employee relations
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role
• Certified Human Resources Professional designation

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :
