Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Shop and Field)

Overview :

We have an opportunity for an Agricultural Equipment Technician to work in the Dufferin and Simcoe County territory. This position is right for someone that loves and mix of shop and field service and can work for a company as an employee but perform with a mentality that they are running their own business. The person we are looking for ideally has experience on heavy AG machines (John Deere Massey Ferguson Fendt AGCO CASE IH New Holland or other specialized brands of farm equipment). We will consider customer oriented candidates with experience on other types of heavy machinery. The compensation ranges between $35 and 45 per hour depending on relevant experience. Company provided service vehicle mobile phone and computer plus extended benefits and pension.

Requirements :

• 5 plus years of heavy duty mechanic experience
• Farm equipment repair maintenance troubleshooting experience is preferred
• Experience working for a heavy farm and agricultural equipment dealership an asset
• Clean drivers license and strong preference to someone with road service experience
• Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
