1.0 FTE Temporary Designated Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary

Reporting to the Principal, the Designated Early Childhood Educator will partner with the Catholic classroom teacher to plan and implement a full day early learning program supporting faith initiatives within a Catholic classroom setting and provide supervision and age appropriate Catholic programming for groups of students.

This is a 10 month per year position, working 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8 : 00am and 4 : 30pm.

Required Qualifications :

• A two-year Early Childhood Education Diploma and proof of registration and good standing with The College of Early Childhood Educators (photocopy of registration certificate required)
• Minimum of six months childcare experience in a childcare or educational setting
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (photocopy of certificates required)
