We are hiring for a Pharmacist to remotely support our Pharmacies located in British Columbia. You will be reporting out of our Save-On-Foods Cambie location based in Vancouver, BC.
Shift:
You will be responsible for:
- Data-entry, drug utilization reviews and documenting prescription changes onto the patient’s profile.
- Creating and updating changes on the unit dose records for blister pack patients in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager.
- Processing drug and prescription orders and submitting to central fill facility when necessary.
- Communicate with other health care professionals within the circle of care to address any drug-related issues and provide optimal patient care.
- Providing drug information and addressing questions or concerns on patient’s regimen either by phone or virtual consult.
- Assisting the Pharmacy manager in inventory management and formulary compliance.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality in all interactions including handling of prescriptions and interactions with patients and the pharmacy.
- Maintaining effective communication and working relationship with pharmacy team members.
- Practicing within legal requirements and ethical principles in accordance with Provincial and Federal legislations, and demonstrate professional integrity and acting to uphold professional standard of practice.
- Providing ongoing feedback to management regarding program operations and potential improvements to quality, efficiency, and overall program performance.
You Have:
- Your Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Completed the Opioid Agonist Treatment Compliance and Management Program (OAT-CAMPP).
- Your Injection Certification.
- Proficiency with Kroll Pharmacy software solutions, and use of Windows-based programs.
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn and adhere to compliance/audit requirements.
- Strong written communication and verbal skills.

Compensation Details:$48.00 - $51.00The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
