In the role, the primary responsibility of this individual will be to provide SES with back end financial, operational & reporting support.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to support with submitting financial approvals (SOW, PPs & PUMIs), invoice submission & tracking to EOs, Asset management : RDU request and management including but not limited to monthly reconciliation, photo audits, invoicing OSL, collecting payment and 3rd party demo management.

Ongoing planograms including new launch updates and Demo rollout compliance. Managing open box return process and account reconciliation.

LP asset reconciliation. Samsung Care Plus reconciliation. Input contracts into NERP system. This individual should have a passion for working in programs like SAP (or similar ERP), Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.

A strong attention to detail, and ability to organize / mange tasks will be key to success. In addition, this individual will provide support, and assist with retail execution development & project management.

Role and Responsibilities

Financial Management Support 70% :

  • Support SES with project proposals submissions in SAP system
  • Process invoices for SES into SAP system & perform monthly reconciliations with key vendor partners
  • Validate invoices by checking tax, vendor info, duplication, budget source and etc., and process it into the GFP system once it is verified.
  • Build, and maintain an invoice tracker to ensure payments are being processed within 30-day guideline from Marketing Finance team
  • Collaborate with project owners & vendors to ensure all required back up documentation for invoicing is captured for the submission on SAP
  • Liaison with marketing finance & procurement teams & navigate proposals thru the approvals process
  • Follow up any payment issues with the project owners to close off open issues
  • Manage FOC submissions and audits in system for SES

Operations Support 20% :

  • Support SES retail in validating installation compliance for new product rollouts
  • Liaison with OSL to rectify rollout deficiencies in a timely manner
  • Support SES on contract management, LP reconciliation, SC+, Open box returns. Evaluate compliance and completion.

Process Improvement 10% :

  • As assigned, work on special projects to drive process innovation & improvements
  • With support from the departmental lead, drive process innovation improvements to streamline operations
  • Develop & manage RDU asset tracker in collaboration with OSL and 3rd party team

Skills and Qualifications

Education :

Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business Administrative, Accounting, or related field preferred from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge :

  • Proven planning & project management skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced, results driven environment
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Influencing capability : ability to gain buy-in from senior management for projects and operational opportunities
  • Strong organizational skills : ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Relationship-building skills at all levels of the organization with ability to present ideas and solutions to a range of audiences including senior leadership
  • Strong team player : willingness to jump in and do what it takes to get the job done
  • Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames.

Experience :

  • 3+ years of relevant administration experience. Experience in retail or Consumer Electronics, Mobile industry an asset
  • Strong MS office skills
