MatchBox Consulting are currently seeking a dedicated Training and Logistics Coordinator for an 11-month contract with one of BC’s largest energy and utilities companies.
As a Training Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of training delivery for a significant project.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Facilities and Equipment Management :
- Coordinate room bookings and catering for training sessions.
- Ensure availability and readiness of training equipment across multiple locations.
- Training Schedule Coordination :
- Develop and maintain the Training Calendar.
- Manage training registration, send invitations, and monitor acceptance.
- Prepare and distribute reminders and prerequisite links to participants.
- Logistics and Reporting :
- Maintain detailed logistics sheets and attendance records for all training sessions.
- Monitor and report on schedule compliance, training completions, and evaluation results.
- Support the production, distribution, and maintenance of training materials and online resources.
- Support Functions :
- Coordinate travel arrangements for trainers.
- Assist the Communications team in organizing events and preparing communication materials.
- Monitor project communications and facilitate timely responses.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, Technology, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 1-2 years in event planning, logistics coordination, or training support within a project environment
- Significant experience with planning, booking and scheduling multiple events and attendees
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Outlook and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience developing and delivering reports considered to be an asset.
