Training and Logistics Coordinator

MatchBox Consulting are currently seeking a dedicated Training and Logistics Coordinator for an 11-month contract with one of BC’s largest energy and utilities companies.

As a Training Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of training delivery for a significant project.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Facilities and Equipment Management :
  • Coordinate room bookings and catering for training sessions.
  • Ensure availability and readiness of training equipment across multiple locations.
  • Training Schedule Coordination :
  • Develop and maintain the Training Calendar.
  • Manage training registration, send invitations, and monitor acceptance.
  • Prepare and distribute reminders and prerequisite links to participants.
  • Logistics and Reporting :
  • Maintain detailed logistics sheets and attendance records for all training sessions.
  • Monitor and report on schedule compliance, training completions, and evaluation results.
  • Support the production, distribution, and maintenance of training materials and online resources.
  • Support Functions :
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for trainers.
  • Assist the Communications team in organizing events and preparing communication materials.
  • Monitor project communications and facilitate timely responses.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, Technology, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 1-2 years in event planning, logistics coordination, or training support within a project environment
  • Significant experience with planning, booking and scheduling multiple events and attendees
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience developing and delivering reports considered to be an asset.
