Production Technician- Chassis Prep/ Box mount/ Undercoat (Night Shift)

Role: Production Technician - Chassis Prep/ Box mount/ Undercoat

Location: Saskatoon

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday (5:45 pm to 4:15 am)

As a Chassis Prep – Box mount / Undercoat, you will be able to:

• Mount box body to chassis
• Install component pieces such as bumper, running boards, fuel filter etc.
• Prep the chassis by making the necessary modifications needed for it to fit the conversion – i.e. remove mounting pucks from frames etc.
• Perform a general quality control check to ensure that all specifications and quality standards are met
• Ensure quality of workmanship conforms to specifications and eliminate rework in all applications
• Vehicle prep and undercoating
• Ensure equipment is maintained as necessary
• Knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems and test equipment
• Experience and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance.
• Understand quality measurements to adhere to ISO requirements.
• Conscious of and adhere to safe work practices.
• Carry, push, pull and lift up to 50lbs.
• Reach forward and overhead at or beyond a full arms length for an extended period of time.
