Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Data

Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team in Calgary. This

hybrid role requires the candidate to be in the office 3 days a week ,

collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and

optimize data solutions using Microsoft Fabric , Power BI , and Azure

Data Services .

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse) .
• Integrate data from multiple sources into centralized models that support business analytics and reporting.
• Develop and maintain Lakehouses, Notebooks , and Dataflows in Fabric.
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize data models for Power BI reporting and dashboarding.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are implemented and followed.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in the data pipeline and transformation processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
