We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer in GTA region to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision automotive components .
Shift - Rotational
Pay - $30 $40 / hr
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code for multi-axis CNC milling and turning machines.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models to produce accurate machining programs.
Select cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies for efficient production.
Conduct first-article setups, prove-outs, and make necessary program adjustments.
Reduce cycle times and scrap through continuous process improvement initiatives.
Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve machining issues.
Ensure machines are operating within safety and quality standards.
Maintain detailed documentation of programs, tooling lists, and setup sheets.
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or CNC Programming.
3+ years of CNC programming experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, or Mazak.
Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
Experience with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, NX, or similar).
Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and machining processes for aluminum and steel automotive parts.
Ability to troubleshoot machining and tooling issues.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
