We are currently hiring for a Senior Operations Planning Engineer in our Calgary AB office.

This role is responsible for evaluating Westcoast Energy’s pipeline system and proactively optimizing performance to meet strategic commercial and operational objectives. It includes leading Westcoast’s Asset System Strategy, conducting hydraulic modeling, developing operational improvements, and collaborating across multi‑functional departments to drive efficiency, reliability, and increase throughput.

What You Will Do

System Modeling & Optimization

• Perform hydraulic modeling to evaluate pipeline performance and identify constraints, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies across the system.
• Recommend system improvements based on utilization reviews & gap analysis.
• Develop, lead and implement technically sound and cost‑effective solutions.

Physical Requirements
