What Is The Opportunity?
Calgary Construction Operations is focused on hiring talented Skid Steer Operators for the 2026 Construction Season in Calgary, Alberta.
What You'll Do here:
- Operate Skid Steer to move material in construction area, always being aware of surroundings.
- Use equipment to transport dirt, gravel, clay, and other materials.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner, following all safety regulations.
- Preventative maintenance of equipment and daily safety checks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 3+ years experience as a Finish Skid Steer Operator.
- Experience within the heavy civil construction industry preferred.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Adaptable to work a flexible work schedule when required.
- Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, professional manner at all times.
- Must be a team player.
Pay and Benefits:
Pay Range: $24 - $34 per hour
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
