Financial Billing Analyst

Black & McDonald Limited , a leader in providing a comprehensive range of trade services, seeks a talented Financial Billing Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our entire billing process, from analyzing service details to managing customer accounts and revenue collection.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze work orders, service agreements, and labor / material costs to create accurate and compliant invoices for various trade services (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Maintain a deep understanding of customer contracts and pricing models to ensure billing reflects agreed-upon rates.
• Conduct thorough reviews of invoices for accuracy and completeness before release.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, liaising with internal teams and customers to achieve efficient resolution.
• Manage customer accounts, including processing payments, handling inquiries, and maintaining positive relationships.
• Generate comprehensive reports on billing activity, revenue trends, and customer payment history.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline billing operations and maximize efficiency.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Work closely with the finance team to resolve issues related to billing on profit recognition and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company billing policies and procedures.
