Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking to hire a Managing Director for their plant operations.
Responsibilities Include :
- Responsible for P& L and yearly budget
- Responsible for financial statements and production reports to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans as needed in accordance with current conditions
- Analyze financial data and market trends to make informed decisions and mitigate risks
- Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to employees, empowering them to achieve their full potential
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulation
- Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
- Oversee overall operations, production in particular, to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resource
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure effective utilization of materials, equipment and manpower in an effort to achieve business goals for production, productivity, quality, profitability
Requirements :
Minimum 8 years of senior operations management experience preferred.Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, preferredManufacturing related experience and certification in Lean Manufacturing.Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Lean Manufacturing- Knowledge and familiarity of lean manufacturing practices. This includes applying these principles when possible.
