Director of Operations needed in North York! $160K, join a fantastic executive team!
Agilus is recruiting for a Director of Operations in the biometrics field in North York, Ontario. Our client in the biometrics space is actively hiring for a Director of Operations to join their executive team in North York.
This is the perfect role for someone with 10+ years of experience in leadership who is looking to keep growing and developing.
Responsibilities :
- Overseeing logistics and the technical support team, ensuring operational excellence
- 20 direct reports managing, mentoring, training, fostering collaboration and alignment
- Implementing a new ERP system
- Participate in generating high-level goals, creating / leading strategic initiatives, identifying and mitigating risks, and contributing to funding decisions
- Managing the budgets
- Develop, manage, and lead projects and programs, monitor costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain and efficient procurement processes
- Managing the production team, manufacturing and inventory
Requirements :
- 10+ years of experience in senior leadership in operations, and 20 years of experience in access control or electric products
- Post-secondary education, ideally in electrical engineering with management courses completed
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Available for a lot of travel outside the country
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing operational strategies that align with the organization's goals and drive business results
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and integrate operations with other business functions to achieve collective objectives
