JOB DESCRIPTION

We lead in the provision of innovative and cost-effective lighting and lighting controls services for improving energy performance for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities in the private and public sectors.
Our expertise extends to all stages of an energy management project, planning, implementation, financing, and monitoring.
ENS also provides solutions beyond building lighting and controls. These include, Smart City Solutions, and EV Charger Deployments
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing detailed assessments of the client’s current lighting configuration to identify facility improvement measures and / or opportunities.
- Gather data on customer’s existing lighting system and produces facility improvement measure plans
- Conduct lighting surveys / audits to document existing conditions as it relates to lighting, lighting controls, and general electrical systems including fixture type, lamp type, wattage, voltage, ballasts, height, mounting, dimensions, foot-candles, and controls.
- Developing client service and management skills as you coordinate and interact with clients during the assessment and contribute to team meetings on our strategy moving forward.
- Determining a unique solution for lighting upgrades and preparing materials for presentation to the client with the team.
- Utilize various company tools to develop building models which assist in determining energy savings.
- Leads or assists in the development of preliminary and final contracting proposals.
- Assists in planning, scheduling and executing construction activities including supervision of crews and equipment.
- Provides input to work schedules throughout the project’s execution.
- Coordinates and communicates with clients and / or contractors
- Maintaining and Monitoring projects, project plans, work hours, budgets, and expenditure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Environmental field from a University or College of recognized standing
- Experience leading and directing other team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines / successful completion of deliverables.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate and work well with other team members and clients and manage expectations.
- Excellent time management and coordination skills
- Ability to follow health and safety protocol and assess potential safety issues at site.
