Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Journeyperson or Apprentice at Leading Edge Glass and Aluminum Ltd., located in Edmonton, AB. The role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass and aluminum products, including windows, doors, and curtain walls. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints or work orders, safely operating tools and equipment, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and collaborating with team members and contractors on various projects.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in glass installation, aluminum fabrication, and working with construction tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and work orders
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and safe work practices
• Experience in problem-solving, attention to detail, and ensuring quality in craftsmanship
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience or certification as a Journeyperson or Apprentice is preferred
• Physical ability to lift and handle materials and work in various environments
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
