Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director, Consortium on Analytics for Data-Driven Decision-Making (CAnD3), provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Quebec Inter-university Centre for Social Statistics (QICSS) McGill-Concordia Laboratory and the Centre on Population Dynamics. The incumbent will also provide support regarding the financial aspect of the training program offered by CAnD3 and act as a liaison for the Centre d'accès aux données de recherche de l'Institut de la statistique du Québec (CADRISQ).
Primary Responsibilities

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Relevant experience in an administrative role within an academic or higher education environment, with the ability to manage complex and multi‑faced responsibilities. Experience coordinating schedules and priorities for multiple stakeholders and reporting to more than one supervisor. Demonstrated experience managing financial budgets. Strong client‑service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders with tact and diplomacy. Highly developed organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and priority‑setting skills, with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in a PC environment, including the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both official languages; French is essential.
Knowledge of French and English
McGill University is an English‑language university where day‑to‑day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 (fluent) on a scale of 0‑4.
