Beltone Hearing Care is seeking a dynamic Hearing Instrument Practitioner to join our team on beautiful Vancouver Island!
The focus of this role is to provide audiology services and assessments, treatment options, and exceptional patient care.
This opportunity is in a well-established practice with a long-term loyal patient following in the community!
Essential Functions :
- With direct support of clinic staff, ensure smooth office operations and practical processes for a professional patient care environment.
- Perform patient hearing test assessments; analyze results and recommend varied treatment and product options
- Fully address patient’s questions and concerns regarding benefits of consistent and immediate use of hearing aids.
- Perform new hearing aid fittings and needed adjustments to previously fitted devices.
- Comply with all verification procedures and quality standards to maximize product performance and overcome patient concerns and objections.
- Include patient companion(s) throughout the rehabilitation process to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate records and confidential handling of patient files, relevant documentation, and Information.
- Stay current on the latest in hearing aid fitting and patient care best practices as well as hearing instrument technology.
- Develop and implement plans for the consistent achievement of the clinic’s hearing aid fitting and revenue goals.
Profile :
- Registered HIP with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals in BC (we will provide full Internship if in pursuit of CSHBC licensure)
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach to working with others
