Duration : 4 month contract then possible flip to perm The client is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join their Package & Courier Shared Infrastructure team in Toronto.

This role involves managing a diverse range of IT systems and infrastructure across multiple subsidiaries and remote locations within the package and courier division of TFI International.

The position requires a candidate with a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, VMware, storage management, disaster recovery, and site recovery solutions. Project Type :

This is a permanent, full-time position within the IT Infrastructure Core Team of the Package & Courier Shared Infrastructure team.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Here at the Package & Courier Shared Infrastructure team is seeking a highly motivated IT Systems Engineer to join our high-performance Infrastructure Core Team based out of our Toronto office.
• The ideal candidate will have very strong technical skills and is expected to deliver results in a fast paced high pressure environment.
• The scope of responsibilities includes supporting business operations, project execution, collaborating with other IT Teams, and vendor management.
• As well as contributing with recommendations on the design, selection and modification of hardware, software, systems and applications;

documenting technical specifications and processes.

Skills Required :

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows OS, Windows servers, Exchange, and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere design, implementation, administration, and maintenance.
• Experience with CommVault, Kaspersky, VMware VCenter SRM, and Fibre Channel Server Storage.
• Certification such as VCP, MCSE / MCITP, Netapp, and Cisco Data Center are assets.
• Expertise in disaster recovery and site recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with Linux systems support.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
