Your Responsibilities
Conduct onsite inspections at commercial, residential, and infrastructure project locations to ensure compliance with erosion and sediment control regulations.Issue detailed inspection reports with corrective actions and timelines.Work directly with contractors, project managers, and site operators to troubleshoot erosion control issues and develop solutions.Assess the environmental impact of construction activities on wetlands, streams, and sensitive areas.Provide technical expertise and answer client inquiries about erosion and sediment control best practices.Ensure compliance with all municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulations.Maintain required certifications, training, and compliance records.Occasionally work evenings and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.Who We Are Looking For
At least one year of experience in erosion and sediment control inspection, design, or installation.Strong background in environmental sciences, water resources, or related technical fields.Ability to identify compliance issues and recommend effective solutions.Excellent communication and client management skills.Physically capable of walking rough terrain, working in all weather conditions, and driving between job sites.Strong problem‑solving, planning, and critical‑thinking skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Additional Assets That Make You Stand Out
Bachelor’s Degree in Water Resources, Environmental Science, or a Related Field.Experience reading and interpreting engineering plans and site drawings.Certified Inspector of Erosion and Sediment Controls (CISEC) – Must be obtained within 12 months of hire.Valid first aid, H2S, CSTS, or other safety certifications.Application Details
