Responsibilities
In the role of Lead Cinematic Animator, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of animators, providing mentorship, regular feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment to inspire high-quality cinematic animations. You will oversee the creation of in house and outsourcing cinematic content, ensuring it aligns with the project's artistic vision and narrative goals, while working closely with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to maintain a cohesive animation style. Along with creating some cinematic animation content, tasking and scoping animation work will be a key responsibility, requiring you to plan and allocate resources effectively, collaborate with project managers, and proactively address potential bottlenecks to ensure milestones are met. Additionally, you will review some of the animation work ensuring that the team is maintaining best practices and workflows. Staying updated with the latest animation tools, technologies, and industry trends, you will also provide technical solutions and support to the animation team as needed.
