Travel Requirements
Must be able to travel 3-4 months per assignment throughout Canada. Must have a valid passport for classroom training conducted in the U.S.
Interview Process
The interview and selection process will begin after the start of the new year, in January 2026.
Training and Promotion
As a certified trainee / apprentice, Sperry will train and ultimately promote you to be a certified professional operator in the RFD non‑destructive testing industry. You will be paid to earn your education at our Connecticut‑based Sperry School of Rail Flaw Detection. Our instructors will take you through advanced curricula, which you’ll apply in the field as a seasoned operator, advancing your expertise and refining your skills. Once promoted, you will be responsible for your own testing platform and / or crew.
