As a Senior Accountant [Non-Audit], Privately Held Business Group your responsibilities will include :

• Collaborating with colleagues to provide exceptional service to clients under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors
• Planning, preparing and executing financial statement reviews and compilations, including budget and resource requirements
• Completing monthly and annual bookkeeping for clients (preparation and advisory) and assisting with payroll and HST calculations
• Preparing various types of tax returns and responding to CRA requests for information
• Supervising, coaching and providing timely feedback to junior engagement team members
• Contributing to the building of our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice
• Other duties as required

We benchmark regularly across a wide spectrum of roles, industries, sectors and levels to ensure our ranges are both competitive and current . But we don’t stop there. We also consider the unique strengths, experiences and impact each individual brings to the table. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors— your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity . To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $59,000–$79,000 in Salmon Arm.
