Job Summary
The Crew Resources and Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the verification and submission process of all crew payroll as well as daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, and reliable, and will demonstrate the ability to take initiative and meet time-sensitive deadlines. Duties & Responsibilities Manage sensitive information in a confidential manner, using discretion and judgment. Prepare and process crew payrolls on a bi-weekly basis Calculate, process, and audit crew payroll transactions such as credit adjustments, training premiums, sick time, leaves of absence, terminations, etc. Manage any administrative functions involved with the Crew Resources department, including, but not limited to : reviewing crew planned absencesawarding monthly RSV type allocation Assisting with additions to N-OC (creating and managing crew profiles) manually verifying Porter’s Master Crew List Prepare and edit payroll audit reports Maintain payroll inbox inquiries and respond to internal inquiries in a prompt and professional manner Responsible for assisting with the creation and implementation of any manual payroll process Cover the Crew Scheduling desk during vacations, absences, or gaps in the schedule Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy Other Duties as assigned by the Supervisor and the Manager of Crew Scheduling. Qualifications Minimum 6 months experience in Crew Scheduling or Crew Payroll Detail-oriented and a proven self-starter Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment Able to work autonomously while possessing strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality Strong computer skills, and experience using Google and / or Microsoft Office product Post-secondary diploma in Aviation is an asset N-OC Crew Roster and Crew Resources Software experience is an asset.
