Overview

We have an opening for a Transportation Engineer at Associated Engineering in Edmonton. The role focuses on highways, roads, and transportation infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Conduct site investigations and prepare road rehabilitation designs for Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors.
Develop tender documents and cost estimates.
Perform QA / QC of reports, quantity estimates, and construction drawings.
Collaborate on design implementation and ensure compliance with company and client standards.
Assist other technologists, designers, and engineers.

Qualifications

Undergraduate civil engineering degree with key transportation electives or experience.

Minimum 4 years of transportation experience, including experience with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors.

Registered Professional Engineer with APEGA.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Team player with ability to work independently.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Canada.
