Job Summary
Urea Technologist is expected to Initiate Propose andExecute research and development Debottlenecking / Revamp Energysaving Sustainability improvement programs directed towards theimprovement of processes and commercial technologies.
Lead inhousenew process technology development scale up & implementationsin commercial plants. Provide technology support to commercialplants for the shutdown turnover and recommissioning as needed.
Provide troubleshooting & Root cause analysis support and driveproblem resolution for commercial plants. The technologist is alsoexpected to provide support in Growth Projects
KeyResponsibilities :
- Provide troubleshooting & Root cause analysis supportfor commercial plants
- Development of Plantwide Model in Aspen Plus or similar software
- Guide the Plant Improvements / Performance based on modeloutcomes
- Participate in inhouse new processtechnology development scale up & implementations in commercialplants
- Carry out Energy and mass balancecalculations
- Conduct Energy Optimization / PinchStudies
- Perform Pump hydraulicscalculations
- Design and calculate Heatexchangers
- Evaluate Various Catalystperformances
- Conduct Feasibility study &Revamp study
- Independently Review EngineeringDocuments & Steer design processes
- Designand supervise pilot plant experimental runs including datainterpretation and reporting
- Collect andinterpret plant process data for recommendations andoptimization
- Actively contribute to plantsafety and quality programs.
Requirements :
- This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Jubail SaudiArabia.
- Preferably holds aMasters or PhD degree
- Masters degree with aminimum of 15 years of experience or PhD with a minimum of 10 yearsof experience in Technology Development Plant Support Modeling andOptimization
- Demonstrated strategic thinkingand planning abilities
- Strong leadershipskills to effectively collaborate and influence individuals fromdiverse disciplines and cultures
- Ability tocreate foster and drive a culture of innovation within theorganization.
