ABOUT YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Director / Senior Director, HR Strategy and Governance who will work closely with the Senior Managing Director and Global Head of HR & Organizational Evolution to guide the implementation of HR strategies, policies and governance frameworks that support our organizational objectives and drive employee engagement and performance. employees.

You will have to :

  • Play a leading role in the definition, analysis and implementation of the HR strategic plan, providing high-quality guidance and advice to the HR leadership team, fostering strategic and innovative thinking.
  • Ensure a consistent project management approach for selected initiatives to ensure effective project selection, prioritization, and execution while identifying key stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and resources.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of key performance indicators and high-level objectives to track the successful execution of our strategic plans across HR and propose concrete solutions to address gaps.
  • Consolidate information to proactively identify potential HR issues within the organization.
  • Ensuring we have the right governance model that provides direction, supports decision-making, and fosters an inclusive collaborative environment.
  • Ensure that information flows effectively within the HR team, including meeting preparation and facilitation (creating agendas, facilitating meetings, and planning activities to promote collaboration among team members and strategic planning)
  • Participate in business projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinate and participate in the writing of reports, presentations, and communications.
  • Work closely with the internal communications team for the development and execution of employee communication plans that align with company goals and values.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to contribute to the continuous development of the team's skills in line with strategic business objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in human resources or a related business function, with a focus on strategy and governance, preferably in the financial or professional services industry
  • Strong relationship-building, influence, and partnership skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, understand stakeholder motivations, and tailor messages to resonate with different audiences.
  • Strong project management skills and proven experience in prioritizing and leading cross-functional and transformational projects.
  • Strong business acumen and experience in a fast-paced global organization.
  • Ability to synthesize data, "connect the dots" and establish credibility while dealing with conceptual and complex topics.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to think through problems and recommend solutions.
  • Highly skilled in collaboration between various teams and stakeholders; Proven experience in engagement and partnership on strategic topics at the senior management level.
  • Ability to work in a high-performance culture, under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Intellectually curious, creative, strategic and visionary
  • Learning agility and knowledge of best practices in trends
  • Proven track record in creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations.
  • Bilingualism : English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our Hong Kong, London and New York offices, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa.
