What do you bring?

• • Canadian Payroll Association - CPA is an asset
    
  • 3+ years of payroll experience
    
  • Payroll system knowledge
    
  • Experience with year and month end
    
  • Tax experience with different provinces
    
  • Canadian payroll
    
  • Problem solving skills required
    
  • Able to engage with multiple projects
    
  • Experience with collective agreements, in multi-jurisdictional environment, is an asset
    
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    
  • Fully bilingual French and English
    

What will you be doing?

• • Responsible for maintaining payroll system
    
  • End to end processing
    
  • Lead government reconciliation reporting/payments
    
  • Provide payroll expertise to the team (tax, best practices, legislation)
    
  • Lead internal projects
    
  • Audit payroll processing to ensure year-end accuracy
    
  • Provide advice on routine as well as complex payroll transactions while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies, and collective agreement
    
  • Manage process improvement, modifications, updates, and enhancement in technology to ensure optimal performance in the delivery of payroll services
