Job description3+ years of payroll experience Payroll system knowledge Experience with year and month end Tax experience with different provinces Canadian payroll Problem solving skills required Able to engage with multiple projects Experience with collective agreements, in multi-jurisdictional environment, is an asset Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Fully bilingual French and English End to end processing Lead government reconciliation reporting / payments Provide payroll expertise to the team (tax, best practices, legislation) Lead internal projects Audit payroll processing to ensure year-end accuracy Provide advice on routine as well as complex payroll transactions while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies, and collective agreement Manage process improvement, modifications, updates, and enhancement in technology to ensure optimal performance in the delivery of payroll services
