Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Quality Control Processing Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Belleville, ON. In this role you will be responsible for supporting regulatory inspections, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining product quality throughout the batching, kitting, and production processes. This role plays a key part in verifying documentation accuracy, monitoring GMP practices, conducting inspections and testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold quality and safety standards. The Quality Control Processing Technician also participates in internal audits and ensures adherence to the company's Integrated Management Systems, including Quality, Food Safety, Production, and GMP requirements.

Responsibilities :
Work closely with the batching and kitting departments to provide regulatory inspection support in a quality control capacity.Verify procedures for batching a particular product and follow up with batchers as required to ensure batch sheets are being followed accurately.Verify lot codes, expiry dates, and documentation for ingredient alongside the kitting department.Ensure correct cleaning protocols and compliance for customer formulation and processing are being followed.Separate allergen and non-allergen products accordingly.Interact and collaborate with the production team to resolve food safety issues and maintain product quality.Support and monitor quality control inspections, track corrective actions implementations, measure results.Conduct inspection and testing analysis on incoming raw materials, additional in-process, and finished product according to inspections and test tables.Complete quality documentation and log non-conformities.Participate in the internal audit program to ensure compliance with quality assurance policies and specifications.Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications :
Post-secondary education in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or life science related field1+ years of experience in food manufacturing within a GMP environment requiredKnowledge of food safety related legislation, standards, and regulationsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and oral communications skillsStrong analytical skills and balanced decision-making skillsAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyProficient computer skillsMu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
