Apprentice Pipefitter (Camp /Field) - Sept 2024
Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oil & gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgary & Leduc with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication.
We are looking for 3rd, 4th Apprentice Pipefitters, Camp, In-Field with accommodations provided (for camp jobs) and flat rate to cover travel - typically covers your prefered method of travel. Shift 21 / 7.

What we’re looking for from you If this describes you, we’d love to meet!
- Valid Apprenticeship Ticket
- WHMIS 2015, CSO, Standard First Aid, HS2 Alive and Fall Protection
- Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid apprenticeship ticket
- Oil and gas experience preferred, not required, comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Willingness to travel away from home for extended periods of time
Where our projects are located :
- Our projects happen in 4 major sites in Western Canada, which include locations like Conklin AB, Grande Prairie AB, Whitecourt AB and Fort St. John BC.
- You will be required to travel on your own, by vehicle. Alstar does provide a flat rate to cover travel.
