Position : Personal Insurance Specialist
Location : Toronto
Our client, a Toronto-based insurance brokerage, is seeking a Personal Insurance Specialist !
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Review pending renewals and advise clients on available cover options, documenting all discussions accurately.
- Provide comprehensive service to clients, handling inquiries, new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations within your portfolio.
- Respond promptly to all telephone calls and complete associated tasks efficiently.
- Maintain positive professional relationships with insurers while advocating for clients' best interests.
- Liaise with internal teams to process documents and communications according to established procedures.
- Inform clients about additional services offered by our organization and provide referral information when requested.
- Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable within your portfolio, ensuring timely payments and minimizing outstanding balances.
- Notify clients of upcoming Direct Bill due dates and amounts.
- Develop your portfolio by quoting and securing new business within management guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on personal lines insurance.
- Sound knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes.
- Valid RIBO license.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software and insurance management systems.
