Summary
Centre for Sexuality (C4S) is seeking a qualified online e-learning content developer or team with expert knowledge in adapting curriculum to an online format using best practices in e-learning development gamification and transformational learner-centric design.
In close collaboration with C4S learning specialists and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) the selected developer(s) will adapt existing curriculum into engaging asynchronous modules.
Brief Project Overview
C entre for Sexualit y has two projects we are seeking online e -learning content for :
Raising Rainbows - Raising Rainbows is currently a four-part psycho-educational curriculum for parents and natural supports on how to support their gender and sexually diverse children and youth. The content is currently designed as four synchronous sessions. Curriculum topics include key concepts terms and definitions personal values navigating and advocating for a young person in educational healthcare and community healthy relationship skills communication tools etc. The final project deliverables will be 4 x 45 -minute asynchronous modules.
Syphilis Treatment Outreach and Prevention Education (STOP) Project- The STOP Project intends to improve priority populations access to culturally safe syphilis and STBBI testing treatment and ongoing support to reduce STBBI stigma and discrimination in Alberta Communities and health systems through health care provider education. The asynchronous courses will be accredited through various bodies physicians and pharmacists for example . These courses include topics like syphilis care and cultural safety and sexual health literacy.
The final project will be 4 x 60 -minute modules. Target audiences are health care providers.
Project Goal
To adapt and develop a total of 8 x 45 -60 minute asynchronous online modules from existing curriculum content.
Scope of Work
Project deliverables should be completed by April 30 2026 . The core deliverables are :
Adaptation and development of 8 online modules (storyboards audio / visual components gamification elements)
Collaboration with C4S curriculum developer s and SMEs
Capacity-building training for C4S staff to ensure long-term usability and maintenance

Budget
The budget range for this contract is $48000-$55000 CAD (inclusive of GST) .
Applicants are invited to submit a phased budget aligned with the project scope.
Proposal Requirements
Proposals must be submitted through Bamboo in MS Word or PDF format and include :

Expertise in e-learning development instructional design gamification scenario-based learning
Experience adapting synchronous curriculum to asynchronous formats
Proficiency in course authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate)
UX design knowledge and LMS setup experience (SCORM packages)
