Job Description :
Thompson Infinity is seeking an experienced Forestry Superintendent to oversee operations in our Forestry Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of forestry activities, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of forestry management practices.
Responsibilities :
Lead and manage forestry operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Coordinate with foremen, operators, and laborers to meet project goals.
Oversee equipment maintenance and scheduling.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Develop and implement strategies for efficient forestry management.
Qualifications :
Minimum 8+ years of experience in forestry management.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of forestry equipment and operations.
Ability to work in remote areas and manage large teams.
Valid class 5 driver’s license.
Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certification.
Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) Certification, BSO or CSO equivalent.
Leadership for Safety Excellence Certification.
Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test.
