Job descriptionHires fast, pays weekly. 4% vacation pay paid out on each weekly pay cheque. Medical and dental benefits once qualified. Free training programs New and quicker onboarding process. Assist with the reconciliation and verification of inventory and fixed asset records. Support data entry and validation in asset management systems and spreadsheets. Help prepare documentation for asset acquisitions, disposals, and transfers. Assist in physical inventory counts and tagging of assets as needed. Maintain accurate and organized records for audit and compliance purposes. Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Inventory and Fixed Asset Specialist. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or administrative support role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with asset management or ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support our client’s Inventory and Fixed Asset Specialist in Brantford, ON, during a peak period of activity. This role is ideal for someone with a background in finance, accounting, or asset management who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with data and systems.
- Pay rate : $27-$29 / hour depending on experience
- Location : Brantford, ON
- Shifts : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm (Hybrid)
- Job type : Temporary | 3-Month Contract (with possible extension)
