Talent Management Assistant Co-op

For this exciting position, we are specifically targeting students who are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration or Commerce with a concentration in Human Resources or Marketing.

The successful candidate must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with individuals of a diverse set of backgrounds.

Depending on the needs and location of the team, you will need to work PDT or MDT or relocate to a specific office (site-based).

You must also currently be a student enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution and will be enrolled throughout the duration of the co-op term (you will also be returning back to the post-secondary institution once the co-op term is completed).

Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Support system, processes and tools related to leadership development and training
  • Draft communications and training materials to support programs and project work
  • Work independently on specific Talent Management projects as assigned
  • Help to track and develop metrics
  • Research and summary report writing
  • Follow up on various activities to ensure completion
  • Provide administrative support and other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration or Commerce with a concentration in Human Resources or Marketing (Preference will be given to students in their third and fourth years)
  • Motivated self-starter with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Works collaboratively and uses a 'customer centric' approach when engaging others
  • Able to work under minimal direction and be able to coordinate several tasks and / or projects simultaneously
  • Curious, adaptable and flexible, as well as open to learning and trying new things
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and a high level of integrity
  • Able to work well independently on projects from start to finish
  • Passionate about technology
  • Previous Co-op experience is an asset
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively in Spanish is an asset

Wage Range : $3900 - $5000

Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
