Overview

We’re looking for Naval Architect Engineers and Technologists to join our growing engineering team at Fleetway. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy, supporting the Royal Canadian Navy through the design and delivery of complex marine systems and structures. You’ll be part of a team that provides full-spectrum engineering and technical data management services, working on projects that directly impact the Navy’s operational readiness — designing, analyzing, and integrating systems that help ensure our fleet is ready to help, ready to lead, and ready to fight. Responsibilities

Design & Documentation

• Develop and interpret 3D models of equipment, foundations, piping systems (including valves, fittings, hangers), and structural components such as decks and bulkheads for client vessels.
• Create and interpret 2D engineering drawings, including parts, assemblies, installations, and arrangement drawings (e.g., general arrangements, firefighting key plans, piping diagrams, power system schematics).
• Conduct technical research using legacy vessel documentation and approved engineering changes to assess system impacts and validate existing records.
